Configure your mobile device (ActiveSync)

Just like Outlook, mobile devices can be configured automatically using a mechanism called "autodiscover". This only requires the user to know their email address and password.

Supported versions

The Kopano Cloud service supports ActiveSync features up to version 16.1.

Adding an account to use with Kopano Cloud

Start the account creation by going to the Accounts view of the mobile device and adding an 'Exchange' type account

The device will then ask for the email identity to start the "autodiscover" process.

During the configuration, the device will ask for the password and in the last step it will provide an overview of the information given, such as the discovered server settings.

The account is now fully configured and can be used to receive push email.

If the selected ActiveSync client doesn't support autodiscover, but needs to configure the profile manually, the following value can be used for the server kopano.cloud.
